Palestine accused Israel of imposing starvation and thirst on Gaza

Ramallah, Mar 12 (Prensa Latina) The Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday accused Israel of imposing "a policy of starvation and thirst" on Gaza by preventing the entry of essential supplies to that territory, which has suffered 15 months of attacks by the Army.

The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs affirmed in a statement that this strategy is one more tool in the war of extermination being pushed by the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The campaign includes attempts to displace our people and annex Palestinian lands, it underscored.

The text also condemned the crimes in the occupied West Bank, especially in the northern region, where the Israeli Army has been conducting a campaign for more than 50 days.

According to official data, more than 40,000 people fled their homes in the Jenin and Tulkarm governorates due to the military operations.

Netanyahu ordered 11 days ago to close Gaza’s border crossings, prevent the entry of vital goods, and cut off the electricity supply to pressure the Hamas militia to force it to accept a ceasefire deal favorable to Israel.
