In his remarks from the Great Mosque of Tehran after the Eid al-Fitr prayer, the end of Ramadan, the Ayatollah reaffirmed that Iran’s positions remain the same, and if attacked, the people will respond to the conspirators, as they have currently done, IRNA reported.
Ali Khamanei thus responds to the recent threats made by US President Donald Trump to bomb Iran if an agreement is not reached with Washington on the Iranian nuclear deal.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Baghaei, in turn, posted on X that the United States’ threat is an affront to International Peace and Security and violates the United Nations Charter.
Beijing recently held a meeting between China, Russia, and Iran on the latter’s nuclear program.
The three countries pointed out that political-diplomatic contact, based on mutual respect, is the only effective and viable option to resolve tensions.

Afirma líder supremo iraní que responderán a cualquier agresión
Teherán, 31 mar (Prensa Latina) El líder supremo de Irán, el ayatolá Alí Jameneí, dijo hoy que si su país es agredido, sus enemigos recibirán una respuesta contundente, severa y similar.
En sus palabras, pronunciadas tras la oración de Aíd al-Fitr,final del Ramadan, desde la Gran Mezquita de Teherán, el Ayatolá reafirmó que las posiciones de Irán siguen siendo las mismas, y si lo atacan el pueblo responderá a los conspiradores, tal como lo ha hecho hasta hoy, destaca este lunes la agencia de noticias Irna.
Alí Jamanei responde así a las recientes amenazas del presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, con bombardear a Irán, si no se llega a un acuerdo con Washington sobre el programa nuclear iraní.
Por su parte, el portavoz del Ministerio de Exteriores iraní, Ismail Baghaei, dijo en su cuenta de X que la amenaza de Estados Unidos constituye una afrenta a la Paz y la Seguridad Internacionales y viola la Carta de las Naciones Unidas.
Recientemente, se efectuó en Beijing una reunión entre China, Rusia e Irán sobre el programa nuclear del país persa.
Los tres países señalaron que el contacto político-diplomático, basado en el respeto mutuo, es la única opción efectiva y viable para resolver las tensiones.
