The foreign minister stated at the 10th meeting that Israel’s actions “flagrantly violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both Arab nations and aggravate the threat to peace and stability in the Middle East.”
Since the beginning of 2025, Israel has launched at least 37 airstrikes against Syria and numerous ground incursions, resulting in the deaths of 24 people, including civilians and military personnel, as well as the destruction of arms and ammunition depots, headquarters, centers, and vehicles.
In this regard, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the attacks as a flagrant violation of international law and the sovereignty of the Arab country and described the escalation of violence as a deliberate attempt to destabilize Syria and prolong the suffering of its people.
“At a time when Syria is seeking to rebuild after 14 years of war, these repeated attacks are part of a clear Israeli attempt to prolong the violence, undermine recovery efforts, and perpetuate a policy of impunity,” the Foreign Ministry stated in a statement.
Likewise, Lebanese authorities have denounced the hundreds of violations committed by Israeli forces since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in various regions of the country, under the cover of the United States.
