The spokesperson for that organization, Amjad al-Najjar, accused the Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, of introducing more than a hundred orders and regulations against Palestinian prisoners since the beginning of the current phase of violence in October 2023.
In an interview with the radio station La Voz de Palestina, al-Najjar highlighted that more than 63 detainees have died in Israeli prisons since that date.
In a parallel statement, the Palestinian Prisoner Affairs Commission and the Club accused the administration of Megiddo prison of recently executing Walid Khaled Abdullah Ahmed, 17 years old.
Last week, these organizations revealed that more than nine thousand 500 Palestinians remain imprisoned in that country, including 350 minors and 22 women.
A few days ago, the director of the Club, Abdullah Al-Zaghari, also separately denounced the increase in attacks and abuse committed by the Israeli prison authorities.
