According to Tuesday’s report, published by the military body on its official Telegram page, after offensive actions after encircling the Ukrainian groupings, the troops of the Northern group broke into Guevo, liberating the locality.

The note said that during the fighting six Ukrainian brigades located in the border area of Kursk were defeated. Meanwhile the aviation and artillery hit enemy positions which were grouped in the Ukrainian province of Sumy. The Defense Ministry also noted that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kursk over the past 24 hours amounted to more than 290 servicemen, as well as one tank, three armored transports, four combat vehicles, seven cars and two mortars.

During the eight months of protracted fighting in Kursk, Ukraine lost more than 72,760 troops, 405 tanks, 331 infantry fighting vehicles, 300 armored transports, 2,260 armored fighting vehicles, 2,644 cars, 595 artillery pieces and 53 multiple rocket launchers.
