State authorities stated the militiamen of the so-called Rapid Support Forces (RSF) increased their attacks after the crushing defeats suffered at the Army’s hands in Khartoum and other leading cities, and now increased their bombing against civilian facilities.
The RSF chiefs have currently threatened the North and River Nile states, where, they said, the big battles will be now.
Since mid-April 2023, Sudan has been embroiled in an internal war, following a power struggle between the Army Chief, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the RSF leader, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
