The leaders of the aforementioned organization expressed their indignation for the paralysis of school activities, especially in the West department, due to the violence of armed gangs.
They expressed their concern about the closure of almost 650 schools in Port-au-Prince, and called on the Presidential Transitional Council to dismiss Didier.
The Prime Minister -in the organization’s opinion- must be replaced by a security expert capable of restoring order so that children can return to school.
Doubt now arises as to whether official exams will be held this year at the national level, to assess students on the concepts learned.
They advised the relevant authorities to place young people at the center of the discussions, so that they can make their contribution to the solution of the crisis.
Members of the organization argued that the power of gangs is a living testimony to the mismanagement and bad governance of the authorities in office.
They accused Didier of failing to take concrete measures to eradicate the scourge of banditry in the West Indian country.
