Russia to unveil new anti-tank missile at Iraq arms fair

Moscow, Apr 16 (Prensa Latina) The Russian group Rosoboronexport informed on Wednesday that it will exhibit the new Bulat anti-tank missile during its debut at the IQDEX 2025 International Defense Exhibition to be held in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.

Rosoboronexport Director Alexander Mikheev told reporters this Wednesday that the Bulat missile will be one of the main attractions at the Baghdad Arms Fair to be held on April 19-22.

The new Bulat projectile for the Kornet-EM anti-tank missile system, on a mobile platform, is capable of destroying armor up to 250 millimeters with dynamic protection, the company said.

The Bulat missile reportedly weighs only 6.5 kilograms in its container compared to the 30 kilograms of other Kornet missiles.

During the exhibition in Baghdad, Rosoboronexport executives will offer co-production projects, licensed production, and joint development of new weapons in the territory of client countries, including Iraq, which Mikheev defined as “one of the key partners in the Middle East.”
