The military institution also stated that in the 30 hours that the ceasefire, decreed by President Vladimir Putin, lasted, the Ukrainian troopers violated it more than 4,900 times, according to the high command.
The Ministry also reported that the Russian troops “strictly observed the ceasefire” between 18:00 hours (Moscow time) on Saturday, April 19, and 00:00 hours on Monday, April 21, and “maintained the positions previously occupied.”
Despite the ceasefire, Ukrainian troops continued striking Russian Armed Forces positions and civilian facilities in the bordering areas of the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk provinces, as well as in the Crimean Republic.
According to the Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian Army used, in those 30 hours, 90 unmanned aircraft, all intercepted; carried out 1,404 attacks with artillery weapons, multiple missile launchers, and mortars, and 3,316 others used quadcopters against Russian positions.
