According to the Presidential Communications Secretariat, the agenda includes a bilateral meeting, the signing of minutes, and the participation in the Brazil-Chile Business Forum.
Several topics are expected to be highlighted in the talks between the two leaders, such as the completion of the Bioceanic Road Corridor, a project to develop road routes to the Pacific Ocean, which has the potential to unite both nations and aims to facilitate logistical and commercial integration between Brazil and Chile.
After meeting with Lula, Boric requested that a seminar be organized with Chilean and Brazilian authorities to discuss the plan. The idea is to debate the impact this route would have on trade and tourism.
According to the Ministry of Planning and Budget, the route is expected to be completed during Lula’s administration, in 2026.
