The first of these events will be moderated by Cuban Minister of Health José Ángel Portal, who will be accompanied by his counterparts Michael Darville of the Bahamas, Luther Castillo, Minister of Science of Honduras, and Douglas T. Mombeshora of Zimbabwe.
The symposium will feature a conference titled “The William Soler Cardiocenter and the Pediatric Cardiovascular Network in Cuba, Focusing on Comprehensive Care Based on Equity and Humanism.”
The program includes a panel titled “Teaching and Research Projection of Scientific Societies in Maternal and Child Care,” as well as other scientific activities.
The second day of Cuba Salud 2025, taking place at the Havana Convention Center and the Pabexpo exhibition center, will also include the International Symposium “Science and Innovation in the Development of Health Systems and Services”; the 5th International Conference on Medical Education in the 21st Century; the International Forum on Hygiene and Epidemiology 2025; the Symposium “Health, Disasters, Climate Change, and International Humanitarian Law,” and the International Workshop “Scientific Production and Visibility of Medical Sciences.”
During the events, the topics of personalized medicine and public health will be discussed: “Strategies for Latin American populations” will also be held; the 15th Health Informatics Congress will also take place, as well as the 3rd Forum on Foreign Investment in the Sector and the Global Health and International Cooperation meeting.
Cuba Salud 2025, which hosts the 16th Health for All Trade Fair and the 2nd Medical Tourism and Wellness Fair, has the theme “Universal Health Strategies, based on the One Health approach, for sustainable development.”
The event sponsors around 400 scientific activities and over 200 keynote lectures, panels, symposia, and meetings, offering a space to reflect on current and future challenges in national and international health.
