Ethiopia, China talks focus onTrade and investment cooperation

Addis Ababa, Apr 24 (Prensa Latina) – The Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Temesgen Tiruneh, received today the vice president of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and president of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, Gao Yunlong.

The talks between the two sides focused on deepening investment, economic development, and trade cooperation between Addis Ababa and Beijing.

Yunlong, who led the Chinese delegation, praised the African country’s ongoing development efforts, especially in the capital, which shows significant progress, Tiruneh revealed on his X social network account.

He added that the distinguished visitor affirmed Ethiopia’s attractiveness to Chinese investors.

“We reached a strong consensus to strengthen the strategic partnership between our two countries, which remains firm and resilient, especially in the economic field,” the release concluded.
