Passion for dance at the closing of the 31st La Huella de España Fest

Havana, Apr 26 (Prensa Latina) The 31st Festival La Huella de España will conclude today in this capital, with passion for dance and the delivery of the Balearic Center's banner to the region that will be honored in the next edition of the event.

Dancers will converge on stage in the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater of Cuba with a beautiful repertoire that includes the Pas de deux of Don Quixote, Andalusia, Alhambra, and Malagueña, among many other pieces. Also performing will be the Ballet Español de Cuba and Spanish dancer and choreographer María Moreno.

Dedicated to the Balearic Islands, the XXXI Festival La Huella de España exhibited a rich program in which the tribute to Antonio Gades, an extraordinary dancer, stands out.

The presentation of Bodas de sangre and the launch of the book Antonio Gades. Arte y Revolución, by Argentine journalist and writer Julio Ferrer.

Each year the event showcases the Spanish roots present in Cuban culture, highlighting the life

and cutoms of various regions and autonomous communities.
