Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov informed the supreme commander-in-chief about the completion of the operation to liberate the Kursk region from the Ukrainian forces, the spokesman stated.

Gerasimov also briefed the president on the role of the DPRK fighters in his report. The senior military official stressed that in accordance with the strategic partnership agreement between Russia and the DPRK, the Asian nation’s military personnel provided significant support in the defeat of the Ukrainian group that invaded the Kursk region.

Gerasimov stated that following the Russia-DPRK comprehensive strategic partnership agreement, the Koreans provided significant assistance in defeating the embattled Ukrainian armed forces group.

He also noted that the DPRK soldiers and officers worked alongside the Russian army, demonstrating great professionalism, fortitude, courage, and heroism in repelling the Ukrainian invasion.
