In Cuba, Transcultura concert and inauguration of Santa Clara School

Havana, Apr 28 (Prensa Latina) Unesco's Transcultura program, financed by the European Union, is celebrating its fifth anniversary promoting opportunities for young people in the creative Caribbean economy.

On the occasion of the celebration, a concert by renowned Cuban musician Roberto Fonseca will be held tomorrow in Old Havana, as part of the activities of the Month of Europe, at the Plaza Vieja at 8:00 p.m. local time, and the inauguration of the Santa Clara School.

This space located in the former convent of Santa Clara was restored in its first stage with the support of Transcultura, and will continue to train creators and professionals of Caribbean culture.

This Tuesday’s recital will also celebrate International Jazz Day and will feature a band of young musicians and artists from Cuba and the Caribbean.

With this proposal, Unesco in Cuba invites to celebrate the talent, creativity and diversity of the region.
