The Russian head of State stressed that the friends of the DPRK acted out of a sense of solidarity, justice, and genuine comradeship during the months of fighting to liberate Russia’s Kursk province from the invading Ukrainian armed formations.

Putin said, “We highly appreciate this and are sincerely grateful to Comrade Kim Jong-un, the entire leadership and people of the DPRK.”

The president underscored, “We emphasize the heroism, the high level of special training of the Korean soldiers, who, shoulder to shoulder with the Russian fighters, defended our homeland as if it were their own, and performed their duty with honor and courage.”

Putin specified that KPA units actively participated in full compliance with international law in the defeat of the Ukrainian government formations that invaded our territory.
