The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates showed in a statement its concern about the situation in the coastal enclave under fire since October 2023.
The diplomatic institution denounced the “systematic policy of depriving defenseless civilians of food, water, and medicine since March 2, through the complete closure of border crossings.”
It underscored, “We condemn the continued disregard by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government for the demands made by the international community and the United Nations for the immediate entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip.”
It described that strategy as “a full-fledged crime that requires decisive international action.”
The Ministry called on the world to act immediately to stop the war in Gaza and considered that the calls for peace must be translated into practical action.
