This, Persad said, will help students from Trinidad and Tobago to get jobs in the global market, specifically in the South American market, while the Digital Economy career will be prioritized.
Kamla Persad Bissessar won on April 28 in the Siparia constituency with over 9565 votes and defeated the PNM candidate, Natasha Mohammed, who obtained only 1921 ballots.
