Massive parade led by Esteban Lazo in Santiago de Cuba (+Photos)

Santiago de Cuba, May 1 (Prensa Latina) More than 300 thousand santiagueros in this capital city, led by the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party Esteban Lazo and President of the Cuban Parliament, expressed their support to the Homeland in the May Day parade.

Representatives of 15 trade unions, intellectuals, peasants and students gathered along the Parade Avenue in this untamed city, to show their support to the Revolution, in front of the monument of Major General Antonio Maceo Grajales.

In addition to Lazo Hernandez, the santiagueros were accompanied by the Minister of Domestic Trade Betsy Diaz, the Member of the Central Committee and First Secretary of the Party in the province Beatriz Johnson, Governor Manuel Falcon and supportive friends of Cuba from France.

The massive participation in the parade for the World Proletariat Day, is not limited to the capital city of Santiago de Cuba, but extends to squares and parks of all municipalities, showcasing the unity of Cubans in the complex economic context that the country is ongoing.
