The audience will enjoy the premiere of the work “El luto de las rosas que se deshojan”, by Haitian composer David Bontemps. It is a cycle of nine songs with poems by Jacques Roumain.
On this occasion, the artist, who has shared the stage with renowned companies in Canada and Europe, will be accompanied by Bontemps and the Havana Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Daiana García.
Cuban soloists will participate in the first installment of the program.
Under the production and artistic direction of Helson Hernández, the concert is sponsored by the National Center of Concert Music, the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana and CMBF Radio Musical Nacional.
