New flight with deported U.S. migrants arrived in Venezuela

Caracas, May 2 (Prensa Latina) Flight number 17 with migrants deported from the United States, the fifth direct flight from that country, arrived today in Venezuela with 174 Venezuelans, making a total of 3,423 so far this year.

The aircraft, a Boeing 767-300ER of the Omni Air International company, landed at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, in Maiquetía, La Guaira State (north), where it was received by the Vice-President for Politics, Security, Citizenship and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, and other authorities.

The U.S. plane brought back to the homeland 142 men, 24 women and eight children, who immediately went to comply with the established protocols of legalization and integral sanitary control, to be later returned to their homes for those who have no outstanding debt with the justice system.

Cabello announced that this Friday afternoon another flight with migrants should be arriving from Honduras.

Diosdado, Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, highlighted the extraordinary effort made in coordinating team work which has to do with the instruction of President Nicolás Maduro to “bring back Venezuelans wherever they are”.
