Local sources quoted by Syria TV stated that the withdrawal was conducted from the enclaves established by Washington in the Koniko and Al-Omar oil fields, in northern Deir Ezzor.
The column left the two bases in groups under heavy security measures.
That withdrawal comes at a time when Syria’s northeastern region is witnessing tensions and changes in deploying US-led international coalition forces.
In April, the Pentagon announced the start of a redeployment of its troops in this Arab nation. The decision led to the closure of three bases and a gradual cut on troops from 2,500 to 1,000.
The Washington-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) revealed that the Pentagon forces will move to five leading bases in northeastern Syria, three of which are concentrated in Hasakeh Governorate.
