In his statement, Pushilin said that in recent days there has been an intensification of military operations in the vicinity of the town, where Russian forces are exerting significant pressure on enemy positions defending the Krasnoarmeisk direction.

The politician also reported that the Ukrainian army is transferring reserves to the Krasnolimansk direction and noted that over the past week, Russian troops have made significant advances in this area and liberated the village of Novoye.

According to Pushilin, the enemy is trying to strengthen its positions due to the deteriorating situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine on this section of the front. “We are observing quite active actions. We see the enemy trying to transfer additional reserves because the situation there is worsening for them.”

The official previously reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out launches against Gorlovka from those areas using HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
