Lula will participate in the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany in World War II.
This is the most important celebration in Russia, which will be held on May 9, with a great civic-military parade in Moscow.
Both presidents will hold a bilateral meeting during the visit, between May 8 and 10.
Afterwards, the Brazilian president will head to China, where he will attend several issues on May 12 and 13.
During his visit to the Asian country, Lula will participate in the IV China-Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) Forum.
A bilateral meeting, scheduled between Lula and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, will take place in the midst of the escalating trade war between the United States and China, the two largest economies on the planet.
