The May edition of The Havana Reporter features mass participation in Cuba in activities and demonstrations held all over the island on occasion of May 1st, International Labor Day, a sign of the population’s endorsement to the Revolution in difficult times.
Other topics included in this issue deal with the solidarity work the Cuban medical staff has conducted in all corners of the world for over 60 years; the XXII Cuba-Russia Intergovernmental Commission Meeting for Economic and Scientific-Technical Collaboration recently held in Havana, and the allocation of over 100,000 quotas for the higher education for the next academic year.
The signing of over 130 business documents during the III edition of the Cuban International Transportation and Logistics Fair (FITL 2025) and the active role a Cuban track and field coach has had in Zimbabwe in the formation of talents from that southern African nation, are also featured in this issue.
