In addition to ministers and senior officials responsible for information from member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), attendees include representatives from ASEAN-Plus Three (APT), including China, Japan, and South Korea.

The ASEAN regional bloc consists of Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Brunei, Myanmar, Singapore, and Malaysia, which holds its chairmanship in 2025.

The two-day meeting aims to discuss the strategic progress of the media and address emerging issues such as misinformation, digital inclusion, ethical use of AI, and digital transformation across different countries.
