As reported by the state news agency ACNC, the event was focused on promoting the fulfillment of the Five-Year Plan and the 20×10 policy, considered a gigantic revolution for what it will imply in the modernization of local industries.
Hosted at the modern Palace of Science and Technology, the Festival was the scene of dozens of seminars and workshops on metallurgy, chemistry, electricity, machinery, light industry and other key areas for the development of the economy.
Representatives of entities directly or indirectly related to the development of science and technology, experts, innovators, officials and prominent workers at provincial festivals took part in the exhibitions and discussions.
The DPRK, which is subject to strict sanctions because of its nuclear program, is committed to autonomy in science, technology and the economy in general, considering it an indispensable premise for sustainable development and the preservation of national sovereignty.
