New Pope Leo XIV visited Cuba on two occasions

Havana, May 10 (Prensa Latina) On the eve, Father Robert Francis Prevost was inaugurated as Pope Leo XIV, who visited Cuba in April 2008 and in February 2011, according to many people on social media.

Through the letter, the leader of the Cuban Revolution assured that his country “will continue to strengthen the positive relations with the Holy See”.

Also President Miguel Díaz-Canel expressed in separate messages on WhatsApp and Telegram, the will to continue working to strengthen “relations between Cuba and the Holy See,” which will celebrate their 90th anniversary in 2025.
