More than nine weeks have passed since the Army started a new siege against the coastal enclave, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) condemned on X.

The UN agency underscored, “Israel is blocking the entry of all humanitarian, medical, and commercial aid”, noting that the longer this measure continues, the greater the damage to the lives of countless people, it noted.

For this reason, UNRWA urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to lift the blockade and pointed out that it is “time to demonstrate that we have not completely lost our humanity.”

UNRWA affirmed last week on the same social platform that Israel’s deliberate and politically motivated starvation of Gaza is an expression of absolute cruelty.
