During last night’s broadcast of his 79th Con Maduro + program, the president alluded to the meeting he held in Russia with his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel, alongside the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory over fascism.
“Meeting with President Díaz-Canel in Russia is another demonstration to the world of how sovereign peoples build alliances of respect, cooperation and peace,” the Bolivarian ruler stressed last Thursday on the social network Telegram.
Maduro commented the day before that during the dialogue they agreed to deepen the cultural relationship “at the highest level”, in dance, cinema, and everything that has to do with musicality and development.
He pointed out that he was talking to Díaz-Canel about the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland and “we agreed that he should go to Cuba”, he stressed.
The Bolivarian ruler expressed that these cultural agreements must become permanent action plans and recalled when “cultural exchange was flourishing daily”, reported the Venezuelan News Agency (Agencia Venezolana de Noticias).
