On the first day of this month, the Syrian president met with a delegation of business leaders from China, led by Zhou Ligang, general director of AOJ-TECHNOLOGY in the Middle East.
During the meeting, investment prospects in Syria were discussed, and Al-Shara affirmed the Syrian government’s commitment to creating an attractive investment climate based on transparency and stability.
China was one of the countries that offered the most political support to the ousted government of Bashar al-Assad, particularly as a permanent member of the Security Council.
