Bernama news agency highlights the president’s meeting with Malaysian youth studying in Russia, during which he pledged to improve the voting process for Malaysian residents abroad to guarantee their democratic rights.
The prime minister responded to concerns raised by the students, including the possibility of exercising the vote without unnecessary obstacles, and expressed willingness to seek solutions before the next general election.
Anwar Ibrahim traveled to Moscow on an invitation from President Vladimir Putin, with whom he expects to meet this Wednesday, Bernama and other local media reported.
His visit will last until May 16 and includes engagements in Moscow and Kazan, the capital of the Autonomous Republic of Tatarstan.
