The presence of the dance troupe from Monaco and Castrignanò is one of the great fortunes in the history of Cubadisco, said the president of the event, Jorge Gomez, that is why the organizing committee decided to give the group and the musician the highest award of the event: the Prize of Honor.
In a recent press conference, Gomez thanked the Organizing Committee of the Alicia Alonso Havana International Ballet Festival, chaired by the National Dance Award 2025, Viengsay Valdes, for this high-level proposal.
The Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater of Cuba will host, this May 16, 17 and 18, the staging of Core meu, choreography by renowned French creator Jean-Christophe Maillot in tribute to revolutionary Maurice Béjart, another iconic artist of France and worldwide dance.
