We welcome the statement issued by the leaders of these countries for their stance against the aggression, the expansion of settlements, and their determination to recognize a Palestinian State, the institution underscored in a statement.
It stressed that the statement is consistent with the constant call for the urgent need to save and implement the two-state solution, end the war in Gaza, withdraw the occupation forces, and provide humanitarian aid.
The Presidency insisted on a political process based on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions on the issue, leading to the end of the occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Rawhi Fattouh, head of the Palestinian National Council, also welcomed the joint statement.
Fattouh pointed out that this position represents a qualitative step forward in holding Israel accountable for the crimes and serious violations against our people, which amount to genocide.
