SANA news agency informed that this position was expressed in a speech delivered at the 78th World Health Assembly held in Geneva under the theme “One World for Health.”
The minister urged the member states to support Syria for the benefit of human health and to build a more equitable and comprehensive health system that protects lives, consolidates peace, and supports the future of this nation.
Al-Ali stated that at a crucial moment in Syria’s history, the Ministry is leading the recovery process with determination and responsibility, based on national priorities, the trust of the people, and in coordination with partners in the international community.
He added that the health system has suffered significant damage over the years, and medical services have declined considerably.
