As reported by the state-run KCNA news agency, the meeting will take stock of the fulfillment of the policies set by the Party and the State for 2025.
At the beginning of the year, the XI Plenum approved several measures aimed at correcting errors based on the experiences achieved in the previous one.
Among the priority issues was the 20×10 policy of building high-efficiency factories in 20 counties over 10 years, which will eventually cover all 200 counties in the DPRK.
It was also agreed to give a strong impetus to the rural revolution program, including the construction of housing to bring living conditions in the countryside into line with those in the cities.
Other objectives were to advance the renovation and modernization of schools, improve teacher training and provide school supplies in order to make the DPRK a leading nation in the field of education. Work related to territorial administration and urban planning and the strengthening of the natural disaster prevention system were also identified as priorities.
