The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip held Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and those countries responsible in a statement for the genocide against Palestinians. “We are facing a full-blown humanitarian catastrophe, with dozens of bakeries closing, hospitals shutting down one after another, and residents deprived of the most basic necessities of life, including food, water, electricity, and medicine,” it emphasized.
The signs of famine and humanitarian collapse are worsening rapidly in the coastal enclave, home to more than two million people the media added and assured that Gaza needs at least 500 trucks loaded with aid every day and another 50 with fuel to reverse the situation. “The deliberate strangulation is causing widespread hunger and malnutrition, especially among children, the sick, and the elderly, in a scene reminiscent of the most brutal sieges and genocides in modern history,” it emphasized.
The organization also considered that the reluctance to act to save civilians from starvation and a slow death is a stain on the world, and therefore called on the international community to pressure Netanyahu to end the aggression and blockade imposed on the Strip “without delay or conditions.” It also called for the United Nations and NGOs to be allowed to operate freely and safely within Gaza.
