Ministers will discuss the implications of USAID’s withdrawal from development assistance and where the EU can step in, she said.
According to her, the EU cannot fill the void left by the United States, but will focus on European priorities, such as democracy, press freedom, and human rights.
On February 3, Washington effectively suspended the activities of USAID, which allocated a significant amount of funds to finance international organizations.
