Showcasing new trends in the hospitality industry is among the event’s goals, along with contributing to the development of the country’s sector and promoting the productive transformation of the Cuban economy, explained Michel Zamora, Director of Logistics for the Ministry of Tourism.
Zamora stressed on the importance of the event, which is considered a room for exhibitors to connect with the Cuban market and present their products.
Rafael Rodriguez, Director of Pabexpo, reported that various sectors will be present, such as equipment, machinery, and accessories; household goods, tableware; interior design, decoration, textiles, furniture, and comfort. Also, food and beverages, technology, software, and entertainment.
Some 57 exhibiting companies attending the event, include 42 from Canada, China, Spain, the United States, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Switzerland, and Turkey, and 15 Cuban entities, including five MSMEs (micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises).
As in previous editions, an area is planned for new products and project presentations, training and capacity building workshops, exchanges, and lectures.
Business roundtables and an Investment Forum to promote and present the Portfolio of Opportunities for Foreign Investment on the Island will also be part of the event.
