Dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the singer and to the care of the environment, Wednesday’s agenda includes, in addition to the gallery opening, a “Popurrí de papel” (Paper Potpourri), with international artists from Argentina and Spain.
Included in this agenda is the “paper theaters” workshop for families and La banda de plastilina (The Plasticine Band), a Communication Arts Collective Comunicalle from Venezuela.
One of the most humane and sensitive actions of this sixth International Meeting of Arts for Children is the visit of The Therapeutic Clowns to the pediatric ward of the National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology “Corazones Risueños” (Laughing Hearts). The activities of the children’s event will continue until Monday, June 2, in which, in addition to art as the protagonist, the preservation of Cuban ecosystems plays an important role and in which children will be very involved.
