Orban expressed his opinion during a conversation with a group of political scientists and journalists participating in the International Conservative Political Action Conference taking place in the country’s capital.
According to Orban, he tried to convince Zelensky of the need to accept a ceasefire, but was rejected because he believed time was on his side.
Orban indicated that shortly afterward, he received the same refusal in Moscow from the Russian president, who, on the contrary, believed time was on his side. “The only difference is that it turned out he was right,” the Hungarian prime minister emphasized.
