In his address to the fourth meeting of the India-Central Asia talk in New Delhi, Jaishankar emphasized that trade, economic, and investment ties between India and the countries of the region have strengthened significantly over the past decade.
He also emphasized that the parties remain committed to promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in a wide range of sectors.
The Foreign Minister also highlighted that India is currently connected to its Central Asian partners through multiple direct flights and improved connectivity, facilitating greater bilateral tourism and trade flows.
Jaishankar also expressed his gratitude to the Central Asian nations for their continued support for India and their condemnation of the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
The India-Central Asia Dialogue is being attended by the foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
