Iran rejects European Troika’s attitude on nuclear issue

Tehran, Jun 6 (Prensa Latina) Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denounced on Friday the attitude of the so-called European Troika -comprising the United Kingdom, France, and Germany-, against this country at the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Araghchi also stated that his country will react strongly against any violation of its rights.

Iran’s Tasnim news agency recalled on Friday previous negotiations with the IAEA, which resulted in a resolution that shut down claims of a possible military dimension to Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

The foreign minister accused the European Troika of opting for malign action against Iran at the IAEA Board of Governors, with politicized reports designed to produce a crisis.

Araghchi finally pointed out that Iran will react strongly against any violation of its rights, and the blame will be solely and entirely on irresponsible actors who stop at nothing to gain relevance.
