In a video message to the International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure 2025, the head of government emphasized the need to design viable programs and ensure that developing countries have access to funding.

He also emphasized that small island developing states should be considered as large oceanic countries due to their vulnerability, as they deserve special attention; and that strengthening early warning systems and coordination is crucial.

He also expressed his hope that the discussion at this conference would take these aspects into consideration.

He also thanked the French President, Emmanuel Macron, for his support; the CDRI is being held in France for the first time.
