The note specifies that on Monday, June 9, the first group of Russian servicemen under 25 years old returned from the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government, and in return, a similar number of prisoners of war from the neighboring country were transferred to Ukraine.
The military ministry’s statement stresses that the Russian soldiers are currently in Belarus, where they are receiving the necessary psychological and medical assistance. Subsequently, the servicemen will be transferred to the Russian Federation for treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions, the Defense Ministry added.
