Under the auspices of the State Movement of Solidarity with Cuba (MESC), dozens of associations in Spain take charge over the year of collecting funds or materials to help Cuba alleviate its economic crisis, which has been exacerbated by the fierce siege imposed by the United States.
The “Jose Marti” Valencian Association of Friendship with Cuba, Euskadi Cuba, and the Ernesto Guevara Association of Solidarity and Cooperation in Torrejon de Ardoz, organized a solidarity trip to exchange on the country’s health reality.
Cubainformación noted that the brigade, comprising 21 healthcare professionals, has the support of the trade union organizations Workers’ Commissions (CCOO), Intersindical Salut, and the Basque union LAB.
