Officials in the Sultanate of Oman stressed that the aggression is taking place amid international efforts to resume nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States with a deliberate intention to obstruct the diplomatic process and provoke a comprehensive conflict that will have serious consequences for regional and international peace.

The Omani Foreign Ministry described this action by Israel as a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and International Law principles and held the Tel Aviv government responsible for this escalation and its repercussions.

Finally, the diplomatic institution called on the international community to take decisive action to stop this dangerous situation, which threatens to divert diplomatic solutions and undermine security and stability in the region.
