Türkiye and Egypt strongly condemned the Israeli air strikes on Iranian territory, warning of the risk of a serious escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
Earlier, the authorities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Cuba, Venezuela, China, and Qatar also condemned the Israeli action and demanded respect for international law and Iran’s integrity.
A few hours earlier, Israel launched an operation targeting Iran’s nuclear program. The Israel Defense Forces reported that 200 fighter jets struck more than 100 targets in Iran overnight.
