The military institution specified that 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down over Bryansk Province; 11 over Kursk; 10 over Oryol; five over Belgorod; three over Tula; two over Kaluga; the same number over the Moscow region; and one over Lipetsk.
The Defense Ministry also recalled that a massive attack by 198 Ukrainian drones against the regions of Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Tver, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov, Tula, and Moscow was repelled in the last day.
The federal air transport agency, Rosaviatsia, reported that temporary flight restrictions were imposed at Zhukovsky Airport, one of the four in the country’s capital, to ensure the safety of civilian aircraft flights.
The Russian provinces bordering Ukraine, such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and the Peninsula/Republic of Crimea, regularly report shelling, drone strikes, and other attacks from across the border, forcing the population to seek shelter elsewhere.
