Beglov recalled that heads of State and Government from eight countries, foreign ministers from some 30 nations, and more than 50 ambassadors are attending this 28th edition of SPIEF.

He also noted that more than 21,000 people from 139 countries participated in the 2024 edition, both in person and online. This year’s event is no less attended, as more than 20,000 people are expected to participate.

The governor emphasized that the safety of the event attendees is the priority, and therefore, St. Petersburg authorities have reinforced all standard measures for this event.

With more than 25 years of history, the forum is an important international platform for the business community and a space for debate on fundamental economic issues.
